Palestine Marathon
The Palestine Olympic Committee is an independent civil organization behind the Palestine Marathon. POC is a recognized member by the International Olympic Committee that oversees the Olympic and sports related activities, carrying the mission of maintaining and developing the Olympic and Sports scene in Palestine.
POC through Palestine Marathon works to increase focus on the basic right of freedom of movement in Palestine.
It aims on providing a fun and challenging experience of cultural exchange through building running culture in Palestine and engaging international runners and supporters.
Increasing the awareness of Palestine on the global public opinion, by presenting the fruitful life of Palestinians and the restrictions they face because of the Occupation.
Palestine Marathon is a collaborative effort between Palestine Olympic Committee and our partners. It was successfully organized for the four years with meaningful support from Right to Movement – RTM is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political social movement of global running communities all over the world, running to tell a different story for the basic human right to freedom of movement.
